2 whole wheat pitas (I used Trader Joe's 1g of fat each)
Oil free BBQ sauce (I used Rib Rack Original)
some fresh or frozen pineapple
1/2 red onions sliced
(you can add jackfruit or other stuff too)
Preheat oven to 400F.
In a skillet, saute the onions and pineapple until unions are soft, about 5 mins. Remove from heat. Lay out the two pitas and spread 1-2 tbsp of BBQ sauce on each. Spread around with the back of a spoon. Add the sautéed pineapple and the sautéed onions and any other toppings you are using. Cook for 5-10 mins. 10 mins will be very crispy. Enjoy
