Easy, High Protein Seitan

Ingredients:

300g Vital Wheat Gluten

125g Premium Pea Protein

40g Nutritional Yeast

1 tsp Onion Powder

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp Paprika

1 tsp Sea Salt

10 oz Water

1 TBSP Coco Aminos


Broth:

8 cups Water

4 tsp Better Than Bouillon vegetable broth


Directions:

Measure the dry ingredients with a kitchen scale and add them to a large mixing bowl. In a small mixing bowl, combine the wet ingredients and slowly add to the dry mix. Mix until reaching a bread dough consistency. (3-5 minutes)


Bring broth ingredients so simmer in a stock pot.  Drop in the seitan and let it cook for 45 mins.  Let it cool down.  Tear it into chunks or strops and use for meals.


Makes 13 servings.
