Soft Corn Tortilla Shells


2 cups Mesaca Brand Corn Masa Flour

1 1/2 cups water


Mix ingredients in a bowl thoroughly for 2 minutes until a soft dough forms. If the dough feels dry add a teaspoon of water

Divide dough into 19 equal balls of approximately 1 oz each. Cover with a damp cloth to keep dough soft and moist

Line a tortilla press with parchment paper and press each ball on the press (Or roll out if you don't have a press)

Heat skillet to medium heat. Put tortilla on skillet, cook for about 30-45 seconds, then flip a second time. after 30 seconds, flip a third time. After 30 seconds, remove from heat and serve warm
