TVP Southwest Protein Taco Bowls


  • 170g (2 cups) Textured Vegetable Protein

  • 2 cups hot water

  • 15oz (420 g) can black beans (drained and rinsed)

  • 8oz (200g) frozen corn

  • 15oz (410 g)can diced tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup cilantro

  • 1 oz (20g) Taco seasoning Mix (I made my own

  • 2 Ole Extreme Wellness high fiber wraps

The recipe macros are based on grams, not imperial measurements.


  1. In a small bowl, add the TVP and hot water, set aside for about 15 minutes

  2. In a skillet, add the TVP and taco seasoning.  Stir together and cook over meds heat.   

  3. Add in the black beans, corn and diced tomatoes

  4. Cook until everything is heated through and the corn is soft.

  5. Turn off heat, top with cilantro

  6. Serve in 2 bowls or taco shells made from 2 extreme wellness tortillas.   Enjoy
